Wah!! Somebody brought kuih raya to the office!! As usual of me being me, I feast myself without needing to be asked twice. As I was in my rage of digging into the kuihs, I can't help but to notice that one of the kuihs was prepared and sold in a very sad way; the portion was so little... :( It was the kuih popia, which is usually made into the shape of short bars. This time, it was shaped in a 'tangled' way, so I can assume that the name changes to popia pintal. What so sad about it was, the portion of the serunding was so little.. Just look at this picture.....
When I bit the thing, the serunding was so scarce, I need to concentrate my tongue and my mind to actually taste it...
I remember when I was little (20 years ago), this kuih was one of my favorite kuih. But now, I can't really tell..
The original and supposedly made popia.. Yummy!!!
Blergh!! Whatever!! I'll finish the kuihs anyways!!!!!
